Abstract: This research investigates the transformative role of digital technologies in modernizing vocational education in Nigeria. As technological advancements reshape industries, there is a growing imperative to integrate digital tools and platforms into vocational training to better prepare students for contemporary workplace demands. The study aims to (1) explore current trends and applications of digital technologies in vocational education, (2) assess their impact on teaching and learning outcomes, and (3) propose strategies for optimizing their integration into curriculum design. A survey research design is employed to gather perspectives from educators, students, and industry stakeholders. A sample size of 350 participants will be selected using purposive sampling, ensuring representation from technical colleges and IT firms in Abuja. Case studies will examine institutions and programs leveraging digital technologies effectively. Findings indicated that digital tools enhance instructional delivery, facilitate personalized learning experiences, and improve student engagement and retention. Recommendations include investing in infrastructure and training for educators, fostering partnerships with technology providers, and adapting curricula to incorporate emerging digital skills relevant to industry 4.0 requirements.
